Common questions

Where is my health data stored?

On your device. Your health records and raw DNA files are parsed and kept locally and are never uploaded to us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What DNA files can I import?

Quanome reads common formats including 23andMe and Ancestry raw data text files, VCF files, and whole-genome files. The file is processed on your device.

Can I import data from MyHeritage or other DNA services?

Yes. Quanome accepts the standard raw-data text files exported by most consumer DNA services — including 23andMe, AncestryDNA, and MyHeritage — as well as VCF and whole-genome files. Whichever service you tested with, you download your raw file from their site and import it into Quanome, where it's parsed on your device.

Does the AI coach see all my data?

No. When you ask a question, the coach requests only the specific values it needs to answer, processed by our AI provider. Your full record set and raw genome are not sent. See the Privacy Policy.

Which devices does Quanome support?

Quanome is launching on iOS first, with Android to follow. Health metrics sync from Apple Health on iPhone; on Android they'll come from Health Connect. You can join the waitlist to hear when your platform is ready.

How is Quanome different from Apple Health?

Apple Health is an excellent store for device and wearable metrics, but it doesn't read your lab PDFs, interpret your DNA, or answer questions in plain language. Quanome pulls your Apple Health data in alongside labs and genetics, then adds an AI coach that reasons across all of it — while keeping everything on your device.

How do I delete my data?

You can clear imported results within the app, or remove all data by deleting Quanome from your device.

Is Quanome medical advice?

No. Quanome is an educational and informational tool. It does not diagnose conditions or replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health.
